The role involves overseeing all aspects of the coffee bar in accordance with
the vision and mission of Urbun Cafe. The Head Barista is instrumental in the
development and evolution of the cafe in collaboration with the owner.
Assume responsibility for all
aspects of the coffee bar
Deliverance of excellent customer
service, preparation and presentation of beverages and operational
Contribute ideas and organize coffee
related events and
Proactively train staff to maintain
and uphold all company and café policies
Additional responsibilities include:
Actively working toward creating a superior café experience
through customer service, beverage preparation and presentation, in-store
marketing and upkeep and maintenance of coffee area

We are seeking a Head Chef who is confident in managing a kitchen team of 5 whilst consistently producing quality meals within the required deadlines and to the company's set standards and customers' satisfaction.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Creating an exciting seasonal menu
- Budget management and profit margins
- Managing the kitchen team
- Haccp training and monitoring
- Liaising with business owner on a regular basis
- Customer satisfaction and feedback
The suitable candidate will not only have an evident passion and love for his/her craft, but will enthusiastically demonstrate an interest in food trends, seasonality and creativity when it comes to the menu, ensuring that it is fresh and up-to-date at all times.
Strong leadership, communicational and organizational skills are a must as well as excellent English and good, positive attitude and hunger for success.

cafe with all proceeds going to The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation
(CMRF) at Our Lady’s Chidren’s Hospital in Crumlin.
CMRF want to give sick children the best chance possible.
Children are sick – right now. Their illnesses ignore time and circumstance.
Their battle for wellness won’t wait until tomorrow. The good folk at Crumlin
have already started to build and renovate facilities for cardiac and cancer
patients but they need our help.
A further €4 million is needed to complete the construction
so that sick kids can get the care they deserve. With your help, patients can
expect world class facilities by Summer 2013.

Urbun Cafe presents: Pop-Up Dinner with former Noma chefs Yannick and Louise
Urbun Cafe is
excited to announce a collaboration with top chefs Yannick Van-Aeken
and Louise Bannon. For two nights only, the renowned duo will dish up a
once-off five course meal in the suburban cafe.
Yannick and Louise
have spent the past five years in the acclaimed Copenhagen restaurant, Noma,
winner of the ‘World’s Best Restaurant’ award for three years running and proud
owner of not just one but two Michelin stars. They are now touring Ireland,
staging exclusive pop-up dining events on a restricted basis.
The dining event, for two nights only on the 16th and 17th
of December from 8 p.m., will demonstrate Yannick & Louise’s
exceptional cooking skills and passion for food using locally sourced produce.
Yannick and Louise have already produced outstanding
results with recent pop-up dining events in both Kai Restaurant in Galway and Ballymaloe House in Cork.
For their inaugural pop-dinner in Dublin, Urbun Cafe was an obvious choice of
